Cambodia

While in Cambodia for the first 6 months, we will be volunteering with Outreach International, a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in the United Kingdom.  They’ve been incredibly helpful with preparing for the trip and answering every question imaginable. Laura will be using her background in human rights and criminology to support vulnerable communities at risk of losing their homes or land.  She will be engaging in field research and fact finding missions in Phnom Penh, writing and editing legal and policy briefs, and supporting local staff.  For more details about her project, click here.

Tyler will be using his background in political science to support ongoing research and legal work with respect to human trafficking in Cambodia.  He will be performing field research in Phnom Penh and surrounding rural areas, writing and editing legal and policy briefs, and supporting local staff.  For more information about his project, click here.
